Residential

Arnold near Beverley

Extension to village ‘cottage’ – A new two storey extension blends in perfectly with the traditional cottage. The outcome is a light and sunny morning room and utility room through from the kitchen. On the first floor entering through from the master bedroom there is a dressing room and elegant bathroom.

Brandesburton

An extension to a modern bungalow in Brandesburton. Flexibility and good design provides a new room overlooking the garden. The generous extra space was designed to be used as a study or hobbies room and includes an entrance hall, storage space and a modern utility room.

Boston Spa

This stone built house within the Conservation Area of Boston Spa was extended on the front elevation to provide more space in the living room including a walk-in bay window, and a warm entrance hall to welcome visitors. Upstairs, a small fourth bedroom was extended to provide a large and airy master bedroom with bespoke en-suite shower room.

Bridlington

A little used triangular site next to a semi detached dorma bungalow in Bridlington is transformed to provide the homeowner with a luxury en-suite shower room, generous study and bespoke kitchen. All the work was completed within tight timescales and with a limited budget.

Schools

School improvement project - Beverley High School

We are proud to have designed, through to build and completion an original and sympathetic first point of contact area for a high ranking girls school on a listed building site. This project was required to create a space that impressed visitors, included an administration area for staff that integrated sympathetically into the architectural constraints of the building. The project was completed within tight timescales, within budget and upon which staff and visitors have commented favourably.

Cottingham Bacon Garth Primary School

The final phase of a three year reburbishment scheme is underway. This has involved remodelling classrooms, toilets, staff room and kitchen facilities, providing inspiring and exciting learning/work environments.

Sports Hall Facility

Feasibility Study was carried out for the School Governing Body at Beverley High School for a proposed Sports Hall facility within the site. This Report was prepared for submission to the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the ERYC for a competitive bid against other schemes. The School Governing Body won this bid and received funding, leading to a superb sports hall complex being designed and procured by the Local Education Authority.

Commercial/Leisure

Leisure Bottesford FC

Here is a new multi-purpose building designed for the Bottesford Football Club to provide larger capacity for changing, refreshment, showering and washing facilities for home and away team sports players and their officiators. The design meets the strict criteria laid down by the Football Federation.

Church Farm Riding School

A scheme was designed for the conversion of existing stables and barns into a number of luxury holiday apartments, preserving many original historical features, including the engine house and existing timber roof structure. The design introduced modern elements which complemented the owner's ideas and aspirations.

Under Development

Beverley

Innovative design solutions were required for a Beverley homeowner to accommodate their specific requirements. We have designed a single storey extension to provide a kitchen and utility room, alteration to the existing building provides a shower room and provision of detached garage.

Beverley

Here is a single and two storey extension on a tight site in Beverley. A spacious kitchen and utility room with sky lights to the rear elevation. An attached garage to the front with a generous study overlooking the garden and fourth bedroom above provides much required extra living space, along with an uplift of the property value when completed.
